A note from Tunde

It started with one
chessboard on the water.

In 2018 I carried a chessboard into a floating school in Makoko. The children there were not expected to amount to anything. Within a year one of them was a national champion. Since then more than 200 have won lifelong scholarships.

Gada is what happens when a million of us decide those children were never the exception. $10 a month, pooled, accounted for, and pointed at the places the road doesn't reach.

Where does my $10 actually go?

It is pooled with every other member's $10 and deployed to programmes. Card fees, taxes and FX are shown separately before you pay.

Can I cancel or pause?

Yes, any time from your dashboard. Your member number and milestones stay with you.

How do I know it reached anyone?

Every month you get a report: which programmes, how much, how many people, with receipts and photos.

Is Gada a charity?

Gada is a membership. You are not a donor helping someone less fortunate. You are a member of a village investing in a shared future.
